I stumbled across this blog today, and while I've enjoyed reading every entry so far, this post in particular really knocked me off my feet!
My niece is around Ivy's age, but she has a learning disability. (She doesn't really retain some things and will do some of her letters backwards, etc.) So there's definitely a gapping contrast from what I'm familiar with. Actually, this family newsletter is probably better written than what most adults could produce!
To me, homeschooling has always seemed ideal for those who have the ability to pull it off. Challenging and rewarding. You make it look well worth the effort!
